Rail Trail Shelter – Beautification and Refurbishment

With the Great Southern Rail Trail being extended from Leongatha to Nyora and passing right through our town of Korumburra, the Club is developing the Wayside Stop built by the Lions Club of Korumburra in 1999. The shelter and picnic area need TLC so we have started building a new garden area to beautify the area as well as putting in new seating and a community noticeboard. New signage is required to direct visitors to the town as well as to points of interest on the Rail Trail in both directions. The project is part of the &5th Anniversary Garden project being carried out around Australia. The garden will be fully opened in early spring 2023.
